Los Angeles unveiled its latest initiative to combat homelessness with the grand opening of the Weingart Tower, a 19-story high-rise in downtown LA dedicated to housing homeless individuals.
Featuring 278 units, this development marks the city’s largest permanent supportive housing project, aiming to alleviate homelessness particularly in Skid Row.

Funded by Proposition HHH, which received voter approval in 2016, along with additional state housing funds and tax credits totaling $56 million, the $165 million project underscores LA’s commitment to addressing homelessness through sustainable and dignified housing solutions.
