Big Apple Bites Back: String of Armed Robberies Plagues NYC Hotspots

New York City’s vibrant restaurant scene has been tarnished by a string of armed robberies that have left diners rattled and police scrambling for answers.

In a span of less than a month, three separate incidents have occurred at popular eateries in Williamsburg and Greenwich Village, raising concerns about the safety of patrons and prompting increased vigilance from authorities.

As per to the source abc7ny The crime wave began on May 31st outside Birds of a Feather in Williamsburg. A lone perpetrator shattered the usual tranquility of a night out when he approached two men, brandished a firearm, and demanded their watches.

The terrified victims surrendered their valuables, and the robber vanished into the night on the back of a motorbike. Weeks later, on June 18th, a similar scene unfolded just a few blocks away outside Marlow & Sons. This time, two robbers targeted a lone 39-year-old man, accosting him and making off with his watch.

The most recent robbery, on June 21st, saw a shift in location to Carbone in Greenwich Village. Here, the modus operandi remained chillingly consistent.

Diners are advised to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity to the NYPD. The NYPD is actively investigating these crimes, and hopefully, they will apprehend the perpetrators soon and restore a sense of safety to New York City’s restaurants.
