MACON, Mo. — A group of noncitizens were arrested this week after allegedly kidnapping a 14-year-old Indiana girl and transporting her to Missouri, according to documents reviewed by The National Desk (TND).
Missouri State Highway Patrol officers received a tip from an Indiana sheriff tracking the girl’s cellphone, which led them to stop a black SUV with Texas plates. As per to the source foxnews
The officer arrested the driver and four passengers, all of whom face kidnapping charges. Authorities identified the men as being from Honduras or Mexico and in the U.S. illegally.
The driver, considered a flight risk, was allegedly attempting to traffic the girl to California. The swift action of the Missouri State Highway Patrol prevented the further movement of the teen.
