Man Dies After Assault and Multiple Hit-and-Runs in Oxnard

OXNARD, Calif. (KABC) – Police in Oxnard are investigating a tragic incident that left a man dead after he was assaulted by a group and then run over by several cars on Sunday night.

When officers arrived, they found a man in his 50s or 60s lying lifeless in the roadway.

Witnesses reported that the victim had been assaulted by several individuals who fled the scene immediately after the attack. Tragically, the man was then struck by passing vehicles.
